The Somerville High School Band presents their first formal performance in December each year. Students spend the first semester preparing a challenging and creative array of music that accentuates the strengths of the ensemble. Students have the opportunity to improvise, arrange, and compose music in wide-ranging musical styles in preparation for this performance. Some examples of recent repertoire include the following:
