Fluff Festival
The Fluff Festival is an annual Somerville tradition held in September that celebrates the invention of fluff, a marshmallow-based spread used to prepare fluffernutter sandwiches. It also serves as our largest fundraising event of the year. The High School Band spends a Friday afternoon together preparing over one thousand sandwiches that are sold at the Saturday festival. The event is a fun and rewarding opportunity for the band members to build relationships with each other. The funds generated from the event enable the band to plan activities and experiences that enrich our students' musical education.
