"Honk!" Parade

The High School Band performs each year at the annual "Honk!" Parade, a high-energy music-making festival held each October in Somerville. The band prepares a collection of popular songs to be played for thousands of spectators along the 2 mile parade route beginning in Davis Square and ending in Harvard Square. The event provides students with a unique opportunity to share their skills with the community, carry forward a local tradition, and listen to a variety of bands representing various styles from around the world.
