"Honk!" Parade

The High School Band performs each year at the annual "Honk!" Parade, a high-energy music-making festival held each October in Somerville. The band prepares a collection of popular songs to be played for thousands of spectators along the 2.0 mile parade route beginning in Davis Square and ending in Harvard Square. The event provides students with a unique opportunity to share their skills with the community, carry forward a local tradition, and listen to a variety of bands representing various styles from around the country.
